One hide, one bag, one pair of hands.

We buy vegetable-tanned hides one at a time, cut around every mark, and burnish each edge by hand in five passes. Nothing is bonded, nothing is split, and nothing is finished by machine that we could finish better by hand.

That is why a KEPAW bag starts stiff and ends up yours – the leather darkens where you hold it, and the shape remembers how you carry it.
